An atlas for anime pilgrims

Seichi Atlas turns scattered Japanese-language fan notes into a structured database of real anime locations: coordinates, travel time from Tokyo, whether you can actually visit, and when the information was last checked.

Why coordinates matter

Search results will happily tell you that a stairway appears in a famous film. They rarely tell you where it is, how long the train takes, or that the site has since been closed. This site carries the facts that answer those questions, and nothing more: no plot summaries, no reviews, no rankings. Just places, mapped.

How we keep it honest

• Every location has a last-verified date, shown on the page.
• Every claim carries confidence: confirmed, likely, or disputed.
• Every appearance links to its source.
• Closed and off-limits sites are kept on the map with a reason, not deleted.
• Private homes are never given exact coordinates.

Data

Factual data (coordinates, addresses, access) is released under CC BY-SA 4.0 where applicable. Site text and the route tooling keep normal copyright. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and carries the ODbL share-alike requirement.
